Apply wiggle to position

I had written the expression so far, but couldn't find what to write to apply this wiggle to the position parameter. I know it's a dumb question but it's the syntax that I don't understand.

Control wiggle amount with a slider

Hi,

I don't use espressions really often and can't find how to add a slider to control the wiggle amount I want to add to a layers position, 2D or 3D.
Can anyone help ?

Thanks, I had been on you're page but hadn't seen the trails chapter.

One more question : when I use the orient along path option, rotation is a bit jerky. Is there a "smooth" option to that ? I think this is an "expression thing" again.

Motion trail

Hi, I'm trying to do some layers follow each other, like a "train". Parenting isn't the solution because the start and end layer's disposition isn't the same. Each layer is different and they must rotate along the motionpath they follow. I've done that manually by copying the path to each ...
