I have a PSD file which contains 9 layers, each of which is a luma matte for a puzzle piece:

I am looking for a script that will import the PSD as a comp, then generate seperate comps for each layer in the PSD file the same size as the imported comp.

Each generated comp should include a comp called "Base Footage" and use the PSD layer as a luma matte for the footage. The length of each generated comp should be set to match the length of "Base Footage".

The result, in this case, would be 9 comps each one a single piece of the puzzle. I could then nest all of those comps into a master comp to view the image as a whole and then manipulate the pieces:

Obviously, I've already done this manually. But now I need to create some puzzle masks with several hundred pieces and doing them all manually would just about kill me. :)
