I'm looking for a way to create a contact sheet or thumbnail page of scenes in a video. Haven't been able to find any software that will do this so I figured After Effects might be the way to go. It would involve:
1) burning time code on the selected layer (maybe using the expression timeToCurrentFormat(time) ?)
2) breaking the layer into separate scenes (or placing markers at the scene changes) .. similar to the "Magnum - The edit Detector" script ( http://aescripts.com/2008/01/18/magnum- ... -detector/ )
3) Taking the separate scenes and making a contact sheet...similar to the "rd: Comp Sheet" script ( http://redefinery.com/ae/view.php?item=rd_CompSheet )
I'm new to scripting so don't know how difficult this would be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
