Need help with trim layers and also region of interest

Hi guys, who know , after effects can trim layers via Scripts?
for example i have Script for export active layer to png file (command myComp.saveFrameToPng(myComp.time, myFile);) and import that png file back to comp, but image exporting/importing not trimed, can i do trim via Scripting(like photoshop do this)? i need delete all transparent.
also try to ask, Script has access to region of interest parameters?
