Re: Smart Importer script (for importing image sequences)
Hi I've been using this script lately. Very handy. One thing I'm trying to work out. Is there a way to set the default frame rate. I need to import image sequences at 23.976, but the default is 29.97. I initially thought it might be getting that value from the Import settings in the After Effects pr...

Convert Keyframe Values to Whole Numbers
Hi I'm not great at working out expressions, so there might be a really simple solution to this. A little context. I need to output keyframe data from After Effects to a piece of bespoke web software. Basically, I create a simple animation on a layer. I then copy all of the transform values and past...

Re: Multiple Keyframe Copy and Paste Library
I should have thought about that option. I guess I'm just used to manually doing my keyframes. However, I may be wrong but I don't think you can select and save keyframes from multiple layers into a preset. I guess the alternative would be to use a shape layer with multiple paths. However if you the...

Multiple Keyframe Copy and Paste Library
Hi there I was just having a go at doing some character lip-syncing in After Effects. I had constructed a mouth with separate layers for the lips, teeth, tongue and back of the mouth. Each layer was a solid with one or two masks to make up the shapes needed. I then adjusted the masks to create the s...

Re: Add layer to multiple comps
Hi.
Did anything ever come of this?
I've got hundreds of comps that I need to add frame counters to. I was thinking that I could create one really long comp with just the frame counter in it and then have it pasted into all the other comps.
Any help much appreciated.

Thanks nab. I don't really know much about scripting but after fiddling for a while I worked out the values I had to change. My alterations are in bold. (Please note this isn't the entire script, just the relevant section) // main script // build the palette var shiftLayersPalette = new Window("...

I'm having a problem with this script. I'm trying to use it with After Effects 7 Pro on Windows XP Pro. When the script is run the palette window opens and I am able to select options from the list of four. However, I am unable to click on the two main buttons. They do not even highlight. I am also ...
