I am looking for a mathematic formula, that when applied to a source value, it will yield a result value in the following relationship: SOURCE = 50, RESULT = 200 SOURCE = 90, RESULT = 111 SOURCE = 100, RESULT = 100 SOURCE = 110, RESULT = 91 SOURCE = 150, RESULT = 66.667 SOURCE = 200, RESULT = 50 I a...

turn ON/OFF all layers in a project...
Is there a script to turn on/off all layers in an entire project based on their label color?
I have multiple translations of the same info and would love an easy way to flip them on/off.
My layers are labeled already.
thx!

multi cam source stitching request
I've been asked to help on a video. They are trying to achieve a "3D GIF" effect. (not entirely sure what that means)Â Footage will be shot on three 7D cameras mounted on a Steadicam. I am being asked to "braid" these three different video files together. Ideally a script, expre...

solids origami
perhaps a script that can help me create what I am working on: I am creating a pop-up book type of animation, where, as the object is pulled open (like a book opening) the solids fold and form a 3 dimensional object (in AE, 2.5D) I realize there is definitely no script that accomplishes exactly this...

decay after keyframe POSITION one axis only
I have this great expression (below) that creates a continue of motion and decay after the last keyframe in a position animation on a 3D layer. Problem is I only want it to happen on the Y-axis (not the x, or z-xais) can anyone help me out and modify this? the expression as is: n = position.numKeys;...

Importing multiple .tiff sequences
This may or may not be a script request... I often need to import many sets of .tiff sequences that are in the same folder. It is tough to navigate and find each sequence. Unlike other systems that group the sequences in the finder. Is there any easy way to "batch" import multiple sequences?

RAM preview all selected comps
Would be handy to have a script that RAM previews all selected comps, so you could run it, walk away, get a coffee, then come back and have it all cache'd.

snap a 3D layer to a camera??
I am doing a camera "fly though" in a comp. Problem is, I want to add layers along the way and have them orient in front of the camera. Because when i add a lyers it takes some time to center it in front of the Camera. Is there a way (maybe a script) that would just repo the 3D layer right...

auto orient expression?
using an expression, is there a way to auto orient ONLY a layers Y-Rotation to the camera? basically I have a camera drifting through a maze of bottles. As the camera moves through the bottles, the layers are flat obviously, I would like them to stay turned to the camera, but NOT tilt down (x-rotati...

can an expression do this?
is this possible with an expression... I need a layer (layer B) to follow in position another layers (layer A) right edge. So when Layer A is scaled, Layer B moves in space to follow the right edge of layer A. The same would go for when Layer A is rotated or repostioned, Layer B would stay snapped t...

minor glitch (Mac)
I have a script that launches a window.
In AE 7 I was able to double click the menu bar of this window to get it to minimize (window shade)
In AE 8 this does not work. Any idea why or how to fix?

I have a long line of text. I want to create a separate layer for each letter without changing the current line's layout (size, kerning etc)
anyone know if there is a script anywhere for this?
