How can I add items to multi-column listbox and its headers?

All I see in CS4 changes is how to change the number of columns and showing headers.

how can I retrieve the source text from the effect called "Basic Text"? this effect has properties such as Position, Size, Tracking, and Composite On Original. In order to edit text, I need to click "Edit Text..." that sits right next to "Reset" in Switches/Modes column...
