Does anyone knows if there is a way to run a script when you're opening or closing a project (from the "File", " Open" menu) ?
This would be a really usefull possibility.

Thanks.

I don't think there is a way to run a script from that method. As far as I know, the only way to execute a script is through the "Run Script" menu, inside another script, from a palette, or from the command line. You could incorporate an Open or Closing action into a script. Maybe that could accomplish your goal?

ok ... i was thinking about using my acual pallette menu to launch the script, but i just wanted to make sure that nobody would use the "File" " Open" method anymore ... that's fine i'll just do that then.

Thanks
