hi everybody,
this is my first topic in this forum ... i don't know if this is the right section to write this question, i have a problem in my after effects ... i want to use that script for ssa karaoke but in my AE when i open the [ file ] menu there is no any choice such as [ scripts menu ] or [ scripts ] or anything related to scripts .. so what is the problem exactly and how can i solve it ?????

i don't know how to know if it's the profissional vergion or not but if it's not .. aren't there any other way for making karaoke on the after effects ????
Look in the "About After Effects" page in the menu. It will probably say "Version 6.5(or 7.0) Professional", or it will say Standard. You need Professional to use scripts I think. You may be able to do something with expressions. Look over in the expressions forums, I think someone posted something using text over time.
