duplicating the project hieracrchical to render directories.

Does anyone know of a way to get the complete hierarchical structure from an item in a project? I am using parentFolder but that only gives the local parent. I want to reproduce a multi layer project hierarchical folder structure and then render each comp into it’s prospective folder.
