I have an animation of some stars falling down , kind of like a fireworks display. I made it with particular and precomposed the animation.

I need this to loop continously for 120 frames. Is there a way to do this, so that the 1st and last frame match up seamlessly?

No. Particular cannot be looped, it's as simple as that. Any time-remapping trickery won't change that. You have to build your loop manually by adding an invisible transition between two instances of your composition, cutting them at the correct same frame on both, which will then become your identical in- and out-point.
