hi there,
I was wondering whether there is a way to drive the resolution of a comp by another comp or even better by a text file.
I have to dynamically change (on a per shot basis) the resoultion of a pre-comp driven by the master comp with some crappy math.
I know I can ask AE to print the width of a comp, but i couldn't figure out how to change it using expressions or jscript..

(or this may solve my problem completely, way more elegant: is there a way to shift AEs camera frustum?)

as changing comp sizes doesn't seem to be possible in a dynamic way, I thought about a tiny interface where the user types in the required values and then gets the comps and cameras he needs to work with...

could anyone please point me how to set up such a 'shot set up'?
I'm trying to automate a set up for stereoscopic projects

Hey Jan,

It's easy to change comp sizes with scripting. Take a look at the Scale Comp script that ships in the demos folder.
