I've got tons of layers, each with a few effects applied. I need to switch off a few of these effects temporarily cos having them all switched on slows down the work process and I can't switch off all of them cos there are Expressions and a couple of effects that I need while I work on the animation and tweaking bits.

Make sense?

I'm hoping to have a script that will -
1) go through the selected layers to provide a list the effects applied
2) provide a checkbox next to each effect to allow for selection
3) provide 1 checkbox to either switch on or off a selected effect, depending on its current state

It doesn't do exactly what you're asking, but if you change the effect names to include "tags", you can search for and turn on/off groups of effects in that way.

Thanks Paul. Was gonna reply much sooner but I kept getting kicked out from the forum. Things seem to be working now.
