I´m thinking of doing a card wipe like effect but instead of wiping
sqares and collums i need to have custom shapes or images.
Think of a comp filled with for example diamond shapes wich i need to be able to flip around revealing another layer. I also need to control randomness, rotation pendulum (maby there is another word?) and things like that. Does anyone know a good expression?

have you tried the card wipe plugin that comes with AE?

Yes I Card Wipe have and i have tried that.
The bottom thing is that i need a shape to be able to do a 180 degree turn and be able to duplicate that layer and movement x number of times spread out in the comp.
I also need to control flipping delay and things like that.
I cant seem to make card wipe to use custom shapes, it´s just takes a layer and makes row and/or collums of that layer.

I hope you understand what i mean.
