as a basis for what I'm trying to do, but going from expressions to scripts is proving to be quite a challenge.
I'd like to import all .dv files in a folder and create a comp for each (just like the script above does today.)
Here's the challenge: each of the newly created comps should then be inserted into a copy of a master comp already present in the project. The "footage" comps should be inserted as layer 2 and 4 out of 7 (I have solids as placeholders, so a source.replace() would work.)
These master-comp-copies should then be set to the length of the footage comp that was inserted.
I've tried to figure out how to do something similar from looking at Dale's script: http://www.creative-workflow-hacks.com/ ... r-effects/
but I'm at a loss.
If feel like a total ass for having to ask, but I'm hoping one of you will have some code to throw my way.
