Is this possible the achieve this set up with expressions?
1. Adjustment Layer - Effect A
2. solid1 - Effected A
3. solid2 - Effected A
4. Adjustment Layer - Stop Effect A
5. Adjustment Layer - Effect B
6. solid3 - Effected B
7. solid4 - Effected B
I am in a situation where I can't precomp because I need everything to be visible from one comp.
If it is possible can anyone point my brain in a direction get to get this achieved.
Thanks for looking.
Josh
I want Adjustment Layer to only effects certian layers?
In this case, if you can't precomp, the best solution is to apply your effects on a per layer basis.

Unfortunately that is not an option either. I am using the alpha channel from another comp on the adjustment layers to hide and reveal my solids. Putting the channel effect on the layer will not work correctly when I adjust the position of my solids.
I could achieve this by creating multiple track mats, however I was hoping to create a cleaner solution.
This is what my comp does ...
(A) < when object A moves down the line wipes it away >
-------------
(B) < when object B move up the line wipes it away >
Oh well, I had to ask.
Thanks for looking anyway.
