Copy mask shapes to layer's position

Hi,
I have a (red) layer with a number of masks.
Manually I select the first mask's mask shape, hit Ctrl+C,
select the (blue) layers position property and hit Ctrl+V to paste.
With this workflow I have created new keys in the position property of the blue mask.
Can you help me to aquire this process with a script?
